2) Support organizations that serve the poor in a way that faithful Catholics can trust. Some CCHD money has certainly gone to good groups in your diocese, so learn where the money goes and if the organization is sound, politically neutral, and in compliance with Church teaching, give to the group directly. 3) Help us to Investigate local CCHD grantees to ensure that they are sound, non-political organizations which in no way oppose the Church or her teachings. 4) Pray that the CCHD will return to a truly Catholic understanding of social justice work and service to the poor. Much needs to be done, and we welcome a return to all of good will who take up this essential work in communion with the Catholic Church.
