There were actually 3 women helping , too!

It is going to a good home so I don't feel soooo bad about not being able to keep it now.

This is how we got our much beloved piano ~ a kind young man, who hated to give it up, let it go because he had to. but we've so benefitted from it! Blessings, Peggy! I know your new home will be full of comfort and love.

I actually had a piano like this one while growing up. Mom and Dad sold it when I left home as no one played it and I couldn't take it with me. It was a good friend. God bless you in this move. Moving seems to cause a range of emotions sometimes all at the same time, melancholy, joy, excitement, anger, tenderness and tears. Take care of yourself...watch that immune system and get as much rest as you can...Prayers for you!!! Cathy

Thanks, Lisa and Cathy!
The financial struggles, then my husband's heart attack and then the move and hurricane Ike all in such a close time frame have slowed us down in terms of communication. But our family is hanging onto our trust in God and each other. Our kids have been overwhelmed a couple of times and that was frightening but we are trying to keep all this turmoil in perspective by looking at it in comparison to the real journey . . . towards God and heaven (not financial security or a "house" or even all the years we may want with our loved ones here on earth).

We got power and semi regular water 3 days ago. This is the first day I have had access to the Internet at work.
Things are moving forward! And we have had quite a few things to offer up to God - to unite any of our small suffering to Christ's and thus have it gain redemptive value.

We pray for our Catholic Internet community just like we do for other friends and family. Know you are in our prayers.
