The Church of England to Have Women Bishops

The Church of England General Synod has voted to have women bishops. Yes, you read that correctly, The Church of England has decisively severed itself from its Catholic roots.

I repeat, they have voted to ordain women bishops without significant safeguards for traditionalists.

The Church of England has reasserted its identity as a Protestant Church. Whether it will be a liberal or conservative Protestant denomination remains to be seen.

You can read a wide range of comments on BBC - very interesting.
