Obama Promotes Abortions Globally

"A president who not long ago told the American people that he wanted to reduce the number of abortions, is already effectively promoting the increased use of abortion as a means of population control."
Douglas Johnson, legislative director of National Right to Life

President Obama's first act may be the same as Bill Clinton's first act a s president. He has made it clear that he plans to overturn the Mexico City Policy, which will allow federal funds to be spent on abortions overseas.

President Reagan first put the Mexico City Policy in place and it is named for a population conference that took place in the Mexican capital in 1984 when he introduced it.

Officials with the incoming administration of Barack Obama have confirmed that he will indeed overturn this pro-life policy of President Bush on his first day in office. Despite campaigning on the rhetoric of wanting to reduce abortions, Obama will make one of his first actions promoting them globally.

Remember, President Bush used an executive order on his first day in office to re institute a pro-life policy that prevented forcing taxpayers to fund international groups that perform or promote abortions in other countries.

Thanks for helping to spread the word.
Interesting . . . . have you read today's Responsorial Psalm? It is from Psalm 40.

R. Here am I, Lord; I come to do your will.

I announced your justice in the vast assembly;
I did not restrain my lips, as you, O LORD, know.

R. Here am I, Lord; I come to do your will.

May all who seek you exult and be glad in you,
And may those who love your salvation say ever, “The LORD be glorified.

R. Here am I, Lord; I come to do your will.
