I kind of liked this one, too!
Then I started thinking of the possibilities within our immediate family . . . if the whole family gets a journal jar just think of the recorded lifetime moments and thoughts and experiences that will be recorded by the year's end.
I mean, you could even make journaling an ongoing planned family activity so you are doing it together!
The journal could be an old fashioned, aesthetically pleasing leather bound classic "journal" or the ever present, and so convenient MacBook (or - even a personal blog) As long as everyone participates . . . and the conversations it can initiate are endless.
I am a hopeless romantic when it comes to this kind of thing.
