Egg on Film

My son asked me a couple of days ago if there are "any pictures of an egg inside a Mommy."
I told him that, no, I don't think there are any yet. "But," I said, "I bet someday doctors will discover how to take a picture. They are very small and, after all, inside the mommy."

Well, guess what?! I was @ Natural Family Life and found a post that announced ovulation has been caught on film. BBC carries the pictures.

<~~ Here is the first of 4 photos. The resolution of these pictures is amazing! Remember that the ovum is one cell!

I agree with Natural Family Life, "I hope such technology can be applied toward noble ends."

I haven't checked my email recently but I am hoping you were able to send Stephanie's info so I can order cards. :-)
I have been enjoying your blog.

I saw that picture a few weeks ago and my first thought was that ovulation looks exactly like it feels!! LOL! It was an amazing picture.

Elena, Now that I can picture it I can understand the pain --oops, I mean the way it feel, too. It really helps me to visualize what is going on.

Lisa, too funny! I thought it was awesome once I got past the "oddness" of actually seeing ovulation! The egg is a beautiful color!
