Celebrate the Liturgical Year - July 2008

Very soon it will be July, a new month, and the opportunity to celebrate more of the Church's liturgical year with family and friends. This calendar includes the last two days of June, also. It is from Catholic Culture.

I am so glad it is helpful to someone else out there! :-)

We are trying to weave the Church calendar into our everyday lives and this was a great find for us.

Blessings to you and yours!

This is such a wonderful link. As a non-Catholic with a passion to honour those who have gone before us in the faith I value this. I was impressed a few years ago in Italy how there seemed to be fireworks displays (for the patron saints of the towns) at least once or twice a month. You demonstrate that Christians can have a party everyday!

Emjaydee,
Thank you for your thoughtful comment! Following the Church Calendar is a journey in learning for me. It helps me stay up with my Scripture reading, prayer life and - you were exactly right when you said, "Christians can have a party everyday!" I, too, have that desire to honor those who have gone before us in the faith.
Blessings!
