Catholic Summer Reading

Found this over at SFO Mom. What a cool find! Thank you, Barb!
"If you've been thinking about expanding your spiritual-reading horizons, why not get involved in the Catholic Summer Reading program? There's even a forum site where you can discuss the books you read."
And, over at Aquinas I found this:
You are invited to join in a book discussion at your parish, local Catholic store or online at CatholicBookDiscussion.com. Kids can also get involved by downloading our Catholic Kids Reading Path and filling it in as they read Catholic books during the summer.

And! here are some great links:

Hey Sou!
You have almost all those recommended parish library books, don't you?
Mia, Mary Elizabeth amd I wanted to know if we could have play dates at your place this summer and do book club with all our kids. I am gathering some more of the children's books on the list. We were thinking -- first: Book Club then "dive-in" movie at the pool. Say - once a week? Let me know.

I am so glad others are finding these lists helpful! I found this via SFO Mom.

Jaynie - great idea about a book club. The first dive in movie is this upcoming weekend, I think. But it is Harry Potter. Don't know how Mia and ME feel about that.
