On February 20 (plannin' ahead here!) there will be a total eclipse of the moon.
Go to Spot Those Turns to learn more or go straight to the NASA site!
In honor of that truly cool happening my kids and I are having a "moon song" contest.
How many songs can you think of that have the word "moon" in them (not just the title but in any part of the lyrics)?
We used to do this kind of creative brain storming in Odessy of the Mind (Destination Imagination) when my oldest was in grade school. Fun! And, it will help us all remember February 20. It is like a gift from God right during Lent!

Love your blog. I never know what I will find...interesting class assignments, great Church Calendar info, provacative environmental thoughts, research on saints or serendipity.
Our family will be watching for one of God's gifts (moon dancin) during Lent - the lunar eclipse.
