Ack! Starbucks!? I have no trouble avoiding pretty much all these companies, but have a Starbucks infatuation it looks like I'd better get over! I actually like Caribou coffee better, anyway.... Just need to make new habits. Thanks for this list!

Lisa, I STILL miss my frappachinos. But, you know, I decided to take the opportunity to let my kids know that it isn't necessarily easy to give stuff up for a greater good. When we pass a Starbucks and it is one of those times a would have (in the past) stopped for a drink, I tell them so. I'm definitely NOT complaining but trying to drive home the fact that luxuries are JUST that and, in MHO should be "sacrificed" under these circumstances.
And, for me . . . . it is just the right thing to do, ya know?
