I find that sometimes I do not know what is wrong but I know life seems out of balance. Adoration fills me and . . . I can't even put it into words.
I love that you went to Dairy Queen after your talk. God and ice cream are a great combination! :-)Soutenushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01187685398897830910noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7534943997597196456.post-13642722749987554852008-05-07T11:02:00.000-06:002008-05-07T11:02:00.000-06:00Going to adoration is so incredibly healing. Once...Going to adoration is so incredibly healing. Once, not too long ago, we had been having problems with our oldest son. Nothing too serious, but he had been creating a lot of stress in the family . . . especially at the dinner table. So that particular night, after another meal in which he gave us a hard time, I told him to get in the car and that we were going somewhere. I didn't tell him where we were going.

When we arrived to the adoration chapel, we sat together in the silence of God's presence. I remember offering my son to God and asking for help.

A few minutes later my son, with tears in his eyes, leaned forward and whispered he was sorry. When we exited the chapel we sat on the steps and had a long heart-to-heart talk. Then we went to Dairy Queen together.

God bless.Maria (also Bia)https://www.blogger.com/profile/10915816897999091636noreply@blogger.com
